PREBLE COUNTY FAIR

Friday, July 30 – Saturday, August 6, 2022 Preble County Fairgrounds 722 South Franklin St, Eaton, OH 45320


2022 marks the 172nd year of the Preble County Fair, sponsored by the Preble County Ag Society. In addition to the rides, food, contests, exhibits, and livestock programs, other scheduled events include a Rodeo, Monster Truck Show, Truck & Tractor Pulls, Draft Horse Pull, and Demolition Derby.

The Fair Parade is scheduled for Saturday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m. on Cherry Street in Eaton (line-up is at 10:00 a.m.).


Fair gates open at 7:00 a.m. daily. Tickets for ages 9+: $7 daily or $25 for a Weekly Pass. Children ages 8 and under admitted free with paying adult. Seniors 65 & older will be admitted free on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd. For more information, visit Preble County Fair.

Rachel Maxann is a vintage indie rock musician, originally from Cincinnati, but has since relocated to Memphis, Tennessee. Her beautifully powerful vocals reflect the influence of her musical family along with her extensive travels and experiences. Her first full album, Everglade, was released October 1, 2019, and she recently released her EP “Belonging to Forever” since moving to Memphis, where she is set to release a new album. Rachel Maxann is joined by accomplished violinist Alice Hasen with whom she shared the stage at the International Folk Alliance.

“Dog Days”

From 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., the city of Oxford will be “expanding” the sidewalks by closing ALL of High Street (from Beech St to Campus Ave) while spreading out on the bricks! Join with local retailers for some “doggie fun” featuring a Dog Parade, Dog Contest, and a Team Zoom Dog Show. Live music on the pavilion stage throughout the evening will entertain you as you walk, shop, eat, and support local all in one evening. OCAC’s feature movie this month is Sing 2 (2021-PG), an animated comedy/adventure continuing the story of Buster Moon and his motley crew from Sing (2016). The annual Red Brick Reunion (RBR) Porsche Car Show is coming back to Oxford for another day of beautiful cars on red brick streets. This year the show will take place up and down High Street in Oxford's uptown historic district from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022. High Street will be blocked off to ensure the safety of attendees as they walk freely on the road, enjoying the cars on display.

THE GREAT DARKE COUNTY FAIR

The Great Darke County Fair will offer fair foods and events including a tractor pull, demolition derby, motorcycle races, Little Miss & Mr. Fair Pageant, harness racing, cheerleading competition, rides, games, and livestock programs.

The Butler Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO), headquartered in Hamilton, Ohio, is composed of 75 professional musicians from around the Southwestern Ohio region. Since 1951, the BPO has been regularly performing concerts in the area to packed houses. The BPO typically performs a wide variety of music, appearing in popular venues like Pyramid Sculpture Park, Hamilton’s RiversEdge amphitheater, and Fairfield’s Village Green Park.
