The Willys Jeep Rally is not your ordinary Jeep show; in addition to viewing vintage and modern Jeeps on display, you can watch rare converted Jeeps being put to work as backhoes, trenchers, post-hole diggers, and more! All Jeeps are welcome at this multifaceted Rally, and beyond the Jeeps there are loads of recreational opportunities at Hueston Woods State Park. The two-day Rally boasts a Swap Meet, Live Demos, Parade, Jeep Tour, Door Prizes, Banquet, Guest Speaker Jim Allen, Awards, and much more. OCAC’s feature movie this month is The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021-PG), an animated comedy/adventure about a quirky family’s road trip. When the Mitchell family members suddenly find themselves in the middle of a robot uprising, they must rally together in order to save humanity from being captured. Celebrate a new month of the fine and performing arts at OCAC’s 2nd Friday Celebration sponsored by The Elms Hotel and Jack & Sally Southard. June's very talented artists include Reyne Davis, Gini Maddocks, and Della Reams. The 2nd Friday performance will be “My Nose Turns Red.” Through the art of the theatrical clown and the one-ring circus, My Nose Turns Red cultivates a supportive environment that inspires youth to challenge themselves, develop essential life skills, and engage audiences. KIDS’ FISHING DERBY – “Catch Me If You Can”

Kids up to the age of 14 (accompanied by an adult) are invited to enter the Lakengren A&E Kids’ Fishing Derby at Hammer Lake. Registration will begin at 9:00 am, with fishing starting at 9:30 and ending at 11:00 am. There are lots of prizes to be awarded, and a free lunch will be provided afterward. HUESTON WOODS ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR

Held on the grounds of the Pioneer Farm at Hueston Woods State Park (four miles north of Oxford), this unique event supports the educational outreach of the Oxford Museum Association. The regional art and high-quality crafts are all original and include: paintings and prints, photography, floral arrangements, stained glass, yard sculpture, jewelry, soaps and candles, gourd carvings, pottery, furniture, clothing, Christmas ornaments, baskets, rugs, and rock engravings.


Tours of the 1836 Doty Homestead and the 1840s Pioneer Barn will be available throughout the event and food service is offered on the grounds. Food vendors will be available and bands will perform during the fair. Admission is $4.00 for adults; children under 12 FREE.
